About Dr. SamANTHA LeVine

As a young girl, I had dreams of becoming an Ob/Gyn, as the process of pregnancy and delivery fascinated me. As I ventured down the clear path of my vision, there seemed to be a discrepancy between what I was learning about the medical industry and how I viewed the human body and how to support the healing process. When I encountered the Principles of Naturopathic Medicine while in my final term at UVa, I felt a resonance so strong that I never questioned my next step in life. When I discovered that I could train as a home-birth naturopathic midwife (please note: I do not currently practice midwifery) and be licensed as a family physician using the principles with which I so deeply resonated, I packed my bags for the West Coast.

I received my bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Virginia and my naturopathic doctorate degree from the  National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.

In addition to practicing naturopathic medicine, I enjoy hiking, biking, dancing, cooking, gardening, reading, and always learning new things.  My husband and I, with the support of our family and community, are raising two incredible children, ages 15 and 23.
